Parvana is a head-strong, do-first-think-later kind of a young woman, and she's got the heart of a lion in her chest. Living in Afghanistan, she's forced to watch her family struggle every single day. So, the girl decides to pretend to be a boy: that way, she'll be able to find a job and helps her moms and pops. The Taliban have taken everything from the innocent citizens and turned their lives into a disaster. They locked her dad away for something he didn't do. Parvana vows to bring him back home and gladly risks her life every day just for a chance to see him again. Will this little girl manage to survive and break her father free? Or is she destined to fail?
