War Machine (2017)
The American forces have been trying to solve the Afghan problem for eight years, and now the government is finally ready to let someone who's all about walking the walk take care of the situation. The country needs a good shake-up and a "clean up", and Glenn McMahon is exactly the right man for this job. Upon arrival, he finds that the soldiers and colonels are tired of fighting: all they want is to survive and go back home to their loved ones. The politicians aren't excited about continuing the war either; so, the general comes up with a "brilliant" plan to win the war in a couple of months. With the American and NATO forces on the ground, it shouldn't be a problem for a 4-star general, should it?
